Chrysler Museum Perry Glass Studio
Original works by local artists from the Chrysler Museum Perry Glass Studio are on display year-round in ORF’s Main Lobby. Installations from the Glasstopia collection are rotated twice yearly and feature a variety of styles showcasing the artists’ cultural backgrounds and disciplines.

Matthew Cox

Matthew Cox is an artist who has been working with glass since 2022. He started his practice at the Cleveland Institute of Art where he cultivated a strong passion for precision, functionality and pattern that continues to drive his work. Being inspired by microscopic details found in nature, he magnifies the mundane within his work to foster connectivity and inspire others to take more in.

Kelsey Finnie

Kelsey Finnie is a staff member at the Chrysler Museum of Art Perry Glass Studio. Her lineage is rich with glass artists. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from The Ohio State University and has worked as a fabricator, artist assistant and instructor at many institutions. Kelsey is also the owner and operator of Kelsey Finnie Glass, where she sells her wares throughout the Hampton Roads area.

Charlie Manion

Charlie Manion is a Midwestern glass and sound artist who connects aesthetic experiences to material processes. He worked as a scientific glassblower and is the music and scenic designer for CAROL Performance Group. His artwork has been exhibited at Westbeth Gallery, the Design Museum of Chicago, and Millennium Park. He was the public glass studio manager at Firebird Community Arts, a trauma-recovery nonprofit for Chicagoans injured by gun violence, before pursuing a Master of Fine Arts at the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University. He now writes about objects at the Winterthur Program in American Material Culture.

Teresa Mitchell

Teresa Mitchell is a visual artist born and raised in Virginia Beach. In 2025, she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from Old Dominion University and is currently pursuing her Masters. Mitchell is a mixed-media artist whose practice is informed by curiosity about materials and processes. Her work incorporates sculpture from found objects, glass, wood, small metals and fibers. The fundamental drive of her work is a desire to preserve meaningful memories. Mitchell approaches her subject with enthusiasm and determination and to keep her mind and hands active, as well.

Audrey Puckett

Audrey Puckett hails from the Great Plains. After attending the University of Kansas, where she earned a degree in film and media with a focus on physical film; she began experimenting with stained glass before securing a production glass blowing gig. She views glass as a magical conduit of light and color. Puckett’s work harnesses the essence of glass, utilizing it as a portal to her whimsical inner-world that was fostered by her small-town upbringing.

Jaclyn Ritter

Jaclyn Ritter is a graduate from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. She spent her formative years as a military child in Hawaii. After receiving her Bachelor in Studio Art, she has been focusing on being a glass artist and figuring out what a career looks like in the glass world. Working out of Wimberley Glassworks in Texas, the Chrysler Perry Glass Studio and a summer spent at Studio Murano Art in Aruba, she decided to pursue a masters to become a glass professor. Her main interest in glass is primarily vessel forms, color techniques and is also captivated by the endless possibilities of shape and design with sculpted glass. Currently she is applying to programs and building her portfolio for her next steps.

Julia & Robin Rogers

Julia and Robin share a passion for sculpture and molten glass. Ideas, techniques and an array of materials are melded together to manifest their combined surreal vision into anthropomorphic explorations. They both hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Master of Fine Arts and love teaching. Robin is the Program Director and Julia is the Higher Education and Outreach Coordinator at the Chrysler Museum of Art Perry Glass Studio.

Penelope Rose (known as “Nelly”) is a queer multimedia artist, collaborator and educator. Often gravitating toward glass and ceramic processes, her objects and sculptural compositions take form through a mixed-media approach, illuminating and emitting elemental power, earthen peculiarity and psychedelic wonder. Rose looks to her surroundings for inspiration; gathering, arranging and assembling a growing library of interchangeable ideas, parts and scenery to create glimpses into fleeting memories, moments and magic.

Anna Antonia Yiaxi Savvidou

Anna Yiaxi Savvidou is a visual artist born in Nicosia, Cyprus. She earned her Master of Fine Arts in Sculpture/Dimensional Studies from Alfred University. Before moving to the United States, she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Athens School of Fine Arts in Greece. In 2025, Yiaxi Savvidou was nominated for the Dedalus Foundation Master of Fine Arts Fellowship and selected for the Salem Art Works Residency in New York, as well as the Fall Fellowship at WheatonArts in New Jersey.

Lori Weaver

Lori Weaver is the proverbial bull in the china shop, and finding glass as a medium has forced her to practice patience, caution, and the fine art of slowing down. A crafter since her youth, she has a compulsion to keep her hands busy and has found inspiration in a variety of media including working professionally in stained glass fabrication. By exploring objects in unconventional scenarios, this Virginia-based artist looks to highlight the beauty in the ordinary, and she wants nothing more than to make the viewer think, “huh.”

On display in the Main Lobby, I AM 400 is a collection of 69 works of art created by Jerome W. Jones, Jr. and his son, Jeromyah Jones.
Featuring both well- known pioneers and unsung heroes, the works are focused on the 400-year journey of African Americans and their solutions for a better future. This project has been featured across media channels both nationally and internationally.
