Custom-built museum display cases have been added to the Main Lobby. These cases are a gift from ORF to the region’s museums. Over the coming years, museums from across the area will use them to showcase highlights from their collections. We hope travelers, guests, and ORF employees find the exhibits both informative and engaging.
July 2025: Old Dominion University’s Barry Art Museum displayed a collection of antique dolls to coincide with the United Federal of Doll Club’s 76th Annual Conference in Norfolk.
August 2025: History Takes Flight: The Story of ORF featured photos, artwork and artifacts that trace ORF’s transformation from a small terminal housed in a former golf course pro shop to the region’s major aviation gateway.
September – October 2025: Naval History Museum in Norfolk curated a collection of Naval headwear through the years. October marks the U. S. Navy’s 250th birthday.
