The authorized signatory serves as the gatekeeper for their company’s access to the airport. They work directly with the Airport Security Coordinator and the Badging Office to ensure TSA regulations are followed throughout a badge holder’s tenure.
A company may designate multiple authorized signatories based on operational needs. These signatories assist with onboarding badge holder applications, submitting payments, conducting badge audits and addressing compliance issues in coordination with the Airport Security Coordinator.
To function in this role, an authorized signatory must maintain an active badge and attend annual signatory training.
